Mio Termination Anchor Plate: For rope sizes (5/8" or 3/4") Tie your rope off without the use of knots. Rope securely holds in place within the plate allowing for easy anchor with carabiner to a permanent anchor point. Constructed of Aircraft aluminum alloy.
The Rope Connection plate Model RCP-58 is used to terminate a 5/8” diameter 3-strand rope, while Model RCP-12 terminates 7/16” and 1/2” double-braided, or kernmantle rope lifeline. The plate provides a quick reusable field termination that eliminates the need for knots and factory termination. |

I do some mid-rise windows and for a while we used a knot on the rope, which was very secure but still emotionally unsettling sometimes. We decided to get an anchor plate, perfect replacement. Fast, easy, and you won't weaken the rope overtime with knots.
