Rope Rider Descent Cylinder
Rope Rider Capewell Descender: New and improved. The Rope Rider was designed for use with 1/2 inch or 7/16 inch rope. Built in safety brake. Aluminum Alloy construction. Each descender is individually tested. Spring loaded rope control. Meets NFPA, ANSI, and CALOSHA standards. Highly recommended and widely used by many professionals. Recommended ropes include 1/2" Safety Core or 7/16" KMIII. A safety line must be used in addition to this workline.
Descender -- Capewell - Rope Rider
The Rope Rider was designed for every day use with 1/2 inch (13 mm) or 7/16 inch (11 mm) nylon or polyester, single or double braided rope. This personal lowering device offers unique design features:
- Built-in Safety brake - the only one of its kind
- Aluminum Alloy construction for tenacity and endurance
- Each unit is individually proof tested - spring loaded to control rope movement
- Plated compression spring to initiate slowing and stopping motion
- Four rope slots to fine tune the descent rate
- Solid connecting eye to link the harness seat board and other apparatus.
The Rope Rider has been tested by UL Laboratories and meets all applicable NFPA, ANSI, and CALOSHA standards for devices of this type. Manufacture recommends KMIII 1/2" or 7/16", New England Safety Blue 1/2". |
